Lamont Grant, 34, allegedly opened fire on his estranged wife and her boyfriend, but killed another man.

Lamont Grant, 34, was charged in the shooting death of Ralph Mcneal, 54, along a Safe Passage route.

Miguel Vazquez, 20, was charged in a shooting that left a man dead and wounded three others on June 21.

The gunman was the child's father, who survived a self-inflicted gunshot wound, family said Tuesday.

Eric Chism, 34, was killed in the 7400 block of South Colfax Avenue. Cops said he's a known gang member.

Two of the shootings occurred at the ABLA-Robert Brooks Homes in University Village, police said.

Ald. Tim Cullerton said he wants to meet with the mayor about violence in the neighborhood.

Since Friday afternoon, four people have been murdered and at least 22 injured in citywide shootings.

Three men were killed: Ralph McNeal, 54,  Jacoby Herron, 21, and  Kenneth Barbour, 18.

A man was shot on the Far South Side Thursday morning, authorities said.

Both men, ages 20 and 40, are in serious condition at Stroger Hospital after the unrelated shootings.

Four people have been shot, one fatally, in the same area since 1 a.m. Wednesday, police said.

Jason Scott, 32, was shot dead in Englewood early Wednesday.

Francisco Chairez-Munoz, 33, was shot early Saturday, authorities said.

The Cooper brothers were found shot inside a car in the 100 block of East 120th Street, police said.
