The historic East Pilsen site will soon be bottling alcohol again — this time, in the form of spirits. 

The new Pilsen Community Books on 18th Street has donated more than 1,000 books to local schools. 

Hearty Boys-owned venture and Mary-Arrchie Theatre would be first to fall ahead of strip's demolition.

The Starbucks at Wilson and Magnolia avenues will close March 7.

After thirty years in business, Ric Addy will close his record and book shop at 4812 N. Broadway.

Defloured, 1477 W. Balmoral Ave., will be open from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Valentine's Day.

The fast casual Pilsen ramen shop, launched in Wicker Park, will be the restaurant's third location. 

The cafe and supplement store, at 5507 N. Clark St. opens at 7 a.m. Friday.

The owners are shifting focus to their pet accessory line and discounting Sam and Willy's merchandise.

The River North market is half-restaurant, half-coffee shop with games and cozy seating.

"With heavy hearts, we made the difficult decision to close our Damen Avenue location," owner said.

Letecia Newbon dreamed of opening her own cafe for nearly a decade. Her dream came true Saturday.

Its replacement will be "better suited" to the neighborhood, owners said.

The new authentic restaurant will be the only Turkish restaurant south of Roosevelt, the owner said.
