RIVER NORTH — Residents are finally getting a taste of 3 Greens Market, River North's newest food court style restaurant that serves baked goods, hot and cold salad bars and Small Cheval burgers.

Though its official opening isn't until Monday, 3 Greens Market, 354 W. Hubbard St., is open for business now.

The market, led by restaurateur Brendan Sodikoff, serves food from Sodikoff's other well-known spots like Small Cheval and Dillman's Pastrami Shop. Customers can also shop the salad bar, order coffee and cocktails as well as baked goods from Doughnut Vault, another Sodikoff business under the Hogsalt Hospitality brand.

“3 Greens Market is based on the idea that you can eat what you want, when you want, be it healthy or indulgent,” Sodikoff said previously in a statement. “We’re finally giving the neighborhood what it's been asking for.”

The market has two distinct areas: one that features the salad bars and burger and pastrami booths with tables for dining, and another more closely resembling a coffee shop, where customers can play games, watch movies or work.

The establishment also features a putting green and a ping pong table.

3 Greens Market is open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday. Lunch service will start at 11 a.m.
