CHICAGO — Shootings have killed two people and wounded eight others since Thursday morning, police said.

• At 12:05 a.m. Friday, a 30-year-old man was shot dead in Austin.

• At 12:28 p.m. Thursday, a 58-year-old man was shot to death during a fight in Austin.

In non-fatal shootings:

• At 9:32 p.m. Thursday, a 36-year-old man was shot in Washington Park, police said. The man was standing outside in the 6200 block of South King Drive when someone in a black truck drove up and fired shots.

The man was hit and was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, police said.

• At 8:34 p.m,. a 36-year-old man was shot while standing outside in Little Village.

• At 8:25 p.m., a 30-year-old man was shot in Roseland, police said. The man was in the first block of West 110th Place when he was shot in his leg.

The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

No further information was immediately available.

• At 5:02 p.m., a 23-year-old man was shot in Park Manor, police said. The man was walking in the 7400 block of South Champlain Avenue when he heard shots and felt pain.

A bullet grazed the man's arm. He was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was in good condition, police said.

• At 2:46 p.m., a 21-year-old man was shot in South Deering, police said. The man was standing outside in the 10500 block of South Yates Avenue when someone in a light-colored car fired shots at him.

The man was hit in his leg and buttocks. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in serious condition, police said.

• At 12:59 p.m., a 50-year-old man and 38-year-old man were shot in Pilsen. 

• Also, a 28-year-old man was shot in Roseland, though he didn't report it until later in the day, police said. At 1 a.m., the man was sitting on a porch in the 400 block of West 115th Street when several people walked up to him and he heard shots and felt pain.

The man was hit in his left foot. At 4:15 p.m., he took himself to Olympia Fields Hospital.

No one was in custody in these shootings unless otherwise noted.
