CHICAGO — A man was shot and killed in Austin early Friday, police said.
At 12:05 a.m., the man was standing outside in the 4800 block of West Quincy Street when someone grabbed him and fired a shot into his head, police said. The attacker then fired multiple shots into the man's body.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The gunman ran away, going south on Cicero Avenue.
Donzell Brewster, 23, of the 4400 block of West Adams, was pronounced dead at 12:24 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
No one was in custody.
