
CHICAGO — Shootings over the weekend killed two people and left 31 other people wounded, police said.
Of those victims, one was killed and eight wounded in shootings since Sunday morning.
• At 8:55 p.m. Sunday, a 51-year-old man was gunned down in Pilsen. His attackers yelled gang slogans before opening fire.
In non-fatal shootings:
• At 2:06 a.m. Monday, a 19-year-old man was shot in Washington Heights, police said. The man was driving in his car in the 1100 block of West 101st Street when another driver pulled up and someone in that car fired shots at the man.
The man was hit in his leg and he crashed his car into a house. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.
• At 1:26 a.m., a 27-year-old man was shot in Englewood, police said. The man was visiting his girlfriend in the 7300 block of South Yale Avenue when the woman's ex-boyfriend fired shots at him.
The man was hit in his armpit and he was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.
• At 11:45 p.m. Sunday, a 52-year-old man was shot by his ex-girlfriend during an "altercation" in Logan Square, police said.
• At 11:02 p.m., an 18-year-old man was shot and wounded in a drive-by in Little Village.
• At 6:25 p.m., two men were shot in Little Village, police said. The men were in the 2300 block of West Sacramento Avenue when a light-colored van drove up and several people in the car fired shots.
A 29-year-old man was hit in his foot and he was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said. The other man, whose age was unknown, was hit in his abdomen and he was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition.
• At 12:18 p.m., a 16-year-old boy was shot in South Deering, police said. The boy was on a porch in the 9900 block of South Paxton Avenue when someone walked up to him and fired shots.
The boy was hit in his upper left thigh and he was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.
• At 11:47 a.m., a 17-year-old was shot in Humboldt Park. Officers pulled over a car and found the wounded teen inside.
No one was in custody in these shootings.
Shootings wounded 12 people between Saturday and Sunday, and one person was killed and 11 wounded in shootings Friday to Saturday.
