CHICAGO — Shootings left two people wounded in Logan Square and Humboldt Park on Sunday, police said.
• At 11:45 p.m., a 52-year-old man was shot in Logan Square, police said. The man was in the 3600 block of West Dickens Avenue when his ex-girlfriend and him got into an "altercation" and she shot the man in his hand, police said.
The man was taken to St. Joseph Hospital in good condition, police said.
• At 11:47 a.m., a 17-year-old was shot in Humboldt Park, police said. Officers pulled over a car for a traffic violation in the 2900 block of West Chicago Avenue and found the wounded teen in the car.
People in the car told the officers they had been in the 1000 block of North Kildare Avenue when someone walked up to them and fired shots, police said. The 17-year-old was hit in his leg.
After stopping the car, emergency responders were called and the teen was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, police said.
No one was in custody in these shootings.
