CHICAGO — Shootings killed one man and left eight people wounded, including a 13-year-old boy, on Thursday, police said.
• At 1:11 p.m., a 21-year-old man was shot death in South Chicago. Another man was wounded in the attack.
In non-fatal shootings:
• At 11:15 p.m., a 22-year-old man was shot in Near West Side.
• At 9:26 p.m., a 47-year-old man was shot while standing on the sidewalk in Uptown.
• At 5:50 p.m., an 18-year-old man was shot in Little Village.
• At 5:20 p.m., a 36-year-old man was shot in Riverdale.
• At 4:35 p.m., a 13-year-old boy was shot in South Chicago. He was in good condition.
• At 12:23 p.m., a 24-year-old man was shot while standing on the sidewalk in Ashburn.
• At 11:17 a.m., a 21-year-old man was shot in Gage Park.
No one was in custody in these shootings.
