CHICAGO — A 13-year-old boy was shot in South Chicago Thursday afternoon, according to police.
At around 4:35 p.m., the boy was outside in the 8700 block of South Burley Avenue when three people began firing, police said.
He was struck in his left leg and was taken to Comer Children's Hospital in good condition, police said.
No arrests have been made.
