CHICAGO — Shootings have left two people dead and 10 wounded since Wednesday, police said.

At 8:09 p.m., a 26-year-old man was shot to death in the Gold Coast.

At 12:20 p.m., Darrell Guy Jr., 40, was shot and killed in Auburn Gresham.

In nonfatal shootings:

• Most recently, at 12:05 a.m. Thursday, a 14-year-old boy and 19-year-old woman were shot in Belmont Cragin, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman. The two were standing outside in the 5300 block of West Belden Avenue when someone walked up and fired shots.

The boy was hit in the back and the woman was hit in her legs, Pacheco said. They took themselves to Community First Hospital, where the boy was in critical condition. He was later transferred to Lurie Children's Hospital. The woman's condition was not released but she was listed as "stable," Pacheco said.

• At 11:40 p.m. Wednesday, a 39-year-old man was shot while standing in a parking lot in Englewood.

• At 11:20 p.m., a 17-year-old girl was shot in Marquette Park, Pacheco said. The teen was in the 6500 block of South Maplewood Avenue, standing on a residential porch with a group of people, when two men fired shots from the street.

The teen was hit in the right leg. She was taken to Holy Cross Hospital, where she was in good condition, Pacheco said.

• At 10:30 p.m., a 29-year-old man was shot in Austin, Pacheco said. The man had just walked out of a business in the 600 block of South Cicero Avenue when he heard a single gunshot and realized he'd been hit.

The man was hit in the right wrist. He took himself to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was in good condition, Pacheco said.

• At 10:15 p.m., an 18-year-old man was shot in Uptown while standing in the street.

• At 8:30 p.m., a 16-year-old boy and 18-year-old man were shot in Austin, said Officer Veejay Zala, a Chicago Police spokesman. The two were outside of a house in the 4900 block of West Ferdinand Street when someone walked up, fired shots and ran away.

The 16-year-old was hit in the chest and the 18-year-old was hit in his leg. They were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition, Zala said.

• At 7 p.m., a 19-year-old man was shot in Old Town.

• At 5:04 p.m., a 26-year-old man was shot in Auburn Gresham. Police said the shooting might have been self-inflicted.

No one was in custody in any of these shootings.
