CHICAGO — Forty-year-old Darrell Guy Jr. was shot and killed in Auburn Gresham on Wednesday afternoon, police said.
At 12:18 p.m., Guy was in the 8000 block of South Green Street when he was shot in his head, said Officer Laura Amezaga, a Chicago Police spokeswoman. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Guy, of the 8000 block of South Green Street, was identified in Cook County Medical Examiner's Office records.
No one was in custody.
