CHICAGO — Shootings on Friday left two people dead and six wounded.

At 2:30 p.m., a 39-year-old man was shot to death and a 26-year-old man wounded in Englewood.

At 7:30 a.m., a 22-year-old man was shot and killed in Washington Park.

Non-fatal shootings:

• At 2:17 p.m., a man was shot in Uptown.

• At 2:01 p.m., a 20-year-old man was shot while walking in Garfield Park.

• At 1:30 p.m., a 16-year-old boy was shot in Washington Park, Lemmon said. The boy was in the 5700 block of South Calumet when he was shot in his leg.

The boy was taken to Lurie Children's Hospital, where he was in good condition, Lemmon said.

• At 12:45 p.m., a 52-year-old man was wounded in a shooting in Brighton Park, Lemmon said. The man was in the 4000 block of South Archer when his shoulder was grazed by a bullet.

The man was taken to St. Anthony Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," Lemmon said.

• At 8:10 a.m., a 44-year-old man was shot in Garfield Park, Lemmon said. The man was shot in his foot while in the 100 block of South Kilbourn.

The man took himself to Loretto Hospital, where he was in good condition.
