SOUTH LOOP — Barack Obama will take the stage Tuesday and Wednesday at the Marriott Marquis in Chicago for his largest event in Chicago since leaving the White House.

The Obama Foundation Summit spans two days in the South Loop with hundreds expected to come for speakers that include keynotes from Michelle Obama and Prince Harry of Wales and a concert at the Wintrust Arena headlined by Chance the Rapper.

The summit is the first major event articulating Obama’s post-presidential mission to promote civics and get young people engaged in building more equitable and inclusive communities.

Obama is expected to personally explain what he envisions to the crowd and how he plans to make it happen through the work of his foundation.

More than a dozen speakers will give their own take on building communities, from locals like artist Theaster Gates to Matteo Renzi, the former prime minister of Italy.

The two-day summit will end Wednesday night with a concert featuring Chance the Rapper, The National, Gloria Estefan and others at Wintrust Arena.

Tickets are already sold out, but many of the speeches and the concert will be streamed online on the Obama Foundation’s website.

Other speakers include:

• Joe Gebbia, co-founder of AirBnB

• Brian Alexander, journalist and author of “Glass House”

• Whitney Kimball Coe, director of the National Rural Assembly

• Hamdi Ulukaya, humanitarian and founder of Chobani

• Artist Bahia Shehab

• Tod Williams and Billie Tsien, Obama Presidential Center architects

• Gabriella Gomez-Mont, founder of Laboratorio para la Ciudad

• Eric Liu, CEO of Citizen University

• Elizabeth Alexander, poet and author
