CHICAGO — A shooting in Garfield Park left a 20-year-old man wounded on Friday afternoon, police said.
At 2:01 p.m., the man was walking down the street in the 300 block of South Hamlin when someone in a light-colored car drove up and fired shots at the man, said Officer Michelle Tannehill, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
The man was hit in his abs and was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in serious condition, Tannehill said.
No one was in custody.
