Uptown Shooting Wounds Man, Police Say

CHICAGO — An Uptown shooting left a man wounded on Friday afternoon, police said.

At 2:17 p.m., the man, whose age was not immediately available, was in the 4600 block of North Racine when he was shot in the leg, said Officer Michelle Tannehill, a Chicago Police spokeswoman. The man's condition was not available.

No one was in custody.
