ROGERS PARK — Forget Taco Tuesday — on May 3 the new Blaze Pizza at Loyola is giving away free made-to-order fast-fired pies to customers in celebration of its Rogers Park opening.

To get the free pizza between 11 a.m.-9 p.m., all customers need to do is follow Blaze on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.

The 6550 N. Sheridan Road location features a 3,100-square-foot restaurant with 42 outdoor patio seats and is known for its personalized thin-crust pizzas and s'mores cookies that get fast-fired, too.

Craft beer and a small wine selection will also be for sale at the Rogers Park location.

The pizzas, most around $8, are thrown into a brick oven for 180 seconds before coming out crispy, a result of Executive Chef Bradford “Pizza Whisperer” Kent's special 24-hour dough fermentation process.

A spot near Loyola University is the franchise's fourth Chicago location, with the nearest sister store off the Belmont CTA Red Line station, 934 W. Belmont Ave.
