CHICAGO — Two people were killed and a person with them survived in a Logan Square shooting late Saturday.

The shooting occurred in the 2300 block of North Springfield Avenue around 11:45 p.m., according to Officer Amina Greer, a police spokeswoman.

The men, ages 21, 16 and 18, were driving when someone approached on foot and fired multiple shots, striking the 21-year-old in his head, the 16-year-old in his back and his cheek, and the 18-year-old in his finger, Greer said.

After being shot, the men crashed into several parked cars, Greer said.

Both the 21-year-old and the 16-year-old were taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital, where they were later pronounced dead, police said. The 18-year-old was taken to Norwegian Hospital, where he is in good condition.

The 16-year-old was identified as Jason Seballos. The 21-year-old was identified as Damian Rodriguez, of the 2300 block of South Keeler Avenue, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

No one is in custody for this shooting, and detectives are investigating.
