LOGAN SQUARE — A man in his 50s or 60s sexually abused a 14-year-old girl on a bus in Logan Square Wednesday morning, according to police.

Around 9:40 a.m., the man walked up to the girl on the bus in the 2400 block of North Milwaukee Avenue and sexually abused her, police said.

The man then left the bus and fled westbound down Milwaukee Avenue.

The girl was taken to St. Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center. Police couldn't provide her condition, saying only that she was "stable."

No one is in custody. Detectives are investigating.

It's the second incident of its kind in Logan Square in two weeks.

A man sexually abused a 6-year-old girl at a grocery store in the 3900 block of West Diversey Avenue on April 15. Using surveillance footage, police arrested a 43-year-old man a few days later.

Noe Moreno, of the 2200 block of N. Narragansett Ave., was charged with one felony count of aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a victim under 9.
