LINCOLN PARK — Having already opened restaurants Downtown and in Old Town, Broken English Taco Pub is planning a new outlet in Lincoln Park.

Adolfo Garcia, who developed the concept, will open his third location in a year in conjunction with Phil Stefani Signature Restaurants. They opened the original Broken English Taco Pub at 75 E. Lake St. last year on Cinco de Mayo.

The Old Town location, at 1400 N. Wells St., followed late last year in the old Pomp & Circumstance, a joint venture with that restaurant's owner Carmen Rossi.

Garcia's menu includes meat, fish and vegetable tacos, available at $7 or $8 a pair, in accordance with his adage: "You can only charge so much for a hot dog, and it's the same with tacos."

The new restaurant is said to be in ready shape, requiring only some aesthetic changes, and is expected to open in early spring.
