CHICAGO — Shootings across the city left three people dead and another seven people hurt between Friday morning and Saturday morning, police said.

A 17-year-old died after being shot in his neck and face in West Garfield Park early Saturday morning, according to Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

Less than an hour earlier, Sedevic said, a 33-year-old man was shot to death at a party in Austin.

On the other side of Austin, a 15-year-old boy was found shot to death Friday afternoon, Sedevic said.

• In the most recent non-fatal shooting, at 3:10 a.m. Saturday, a 19-year-old man was shot in the 2100 block of West Cullerton in Heart of Chicago, Sedevic said.

The man brought himself to Stroger Hospital after being shot twice in his abdomen, Sedevic said, citing preliminary information.

Police could not immediately provide the man's condition.

• Around 12:30 a.m., Sedevic said, a 16-year-old girl was sitting in her home in the 9500 block of South Green Street in Washington Heights when a bullet came through the front window and struck her arm.

The girl was brought to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where her condition was "stable," Sedevic said. Police could not say the extent of her injuries.

• About an hour earlier, a 19-year-old man was walking in the 4900 block of South Champlain Avenue in Kenwood when he felt pain in his hand and realized he'd been shot, Sedevic said.

The man went to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where his condition stabilized, Sedevic said. Police could not say the extent of his injuries.

Police said the man is a documented gang member.

• Around 11 p.m. Friday night, an 18-year-old man was walking with friends in the 5300 block of South Artesian Avenue in Gage Park when someone pulled up on a motorcycle and started shooting before fleeing southbound, Sedevic said.

A friend brought the man to Holy Cross Hospital, Sedevic said, where his condition stabilized after he was treated for a gunshot wound in his left forearm. Police could not say the extent of his injuries.

•Around 11:15 a.m. Friday morning, a 23-year-old man was riding in a car with a group travelling southbound on the 9300 block of South Ashland Avenue in Brainerd when a dark-colored SUV pulled up alongside them and someone inside fired shots, Sedevic said.

The group then drove to Little Company of Mary Hospital after they realized the man had been shot in his left shoulder, Sedevic said.

The man's condition stabilized, Sedevic said, after being treated at the hospital. Police could not say the extent of his injuries.

Police said the man is gang-affiliated, and they believe the shooting was gang-related.

• A 23-year-old man was shot in West Garfield Park about 45 minutes earlier, Sedevic said.

The man was standing on the sidewalk in the 4100 block of West West End Avenue when a silver car pulled up, someone got out and told the man to come toward him, Sedevic said.

The 23-year-old turned to run away, and the other man shot at him, Sedevic said. The shooter then grabbed the man's wallet before fleeing.

The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition with a gunshot wound in his arm, Sedevic said.

• Around 7:35 a.m. Friday, a 22-year-old man was walking on the sidewalk in the 1100 block of North Leamington Avenue in Austin when he heard gunshots and felt pain, Sedevic said.

The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, Sedevic said, where he was listed in fair condition after being treated for a gunshot wound in his buttocks.
