CHICAGO — At least 12 people were wounded and three people were killed in shootings across the city since Saturday night.

A fatal shooting occurred in West Englewood around 9 p.m. Saturday. A 19-year-old man was killed, and two others were wounded. Another man was killed in a Bronzeville shooting.

Most recently, a security guard fatally shot a man who pulled a knife on him in an Albany Park restaurant around 4 a.m. Sunday.

In other shootings:

• Around 3:40 a.m., two people were shot in Pilsen.

• Around 12:30 a.m., three people, including an elderly woman, were shot in West Garfield Park.

Two men, ages 50 and 30, were standing on the sidewalk in the 3900 block of West Arthington Street and a 73-year-old woman was sitting on a porch of a house when unknown shooters opened fire "from down the block," according to Officer Jose Estrada, a police spokesman.

The 73-year-old woman sustained a gunshot wound in her shoulder, and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where she is in good condition, Estrada said.

Both the 30-year-old and 50-year-old sustained gunshot wounds in their thighs. The 30-year old is in good condition after being transported to Stroger Hospital, while the 50-year-old is in good condition after being taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, Estrada said.

No one is in custody, and detectives are investigating.

• A couple of hours earlier, two people were shot in Auburn Gresham.

The shooting occurred in the 900 block of West 87th Street around 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Estrada said.

A 28-year-old man was walking, and another 34-year-old man, who is the employee of a business, was standing on the sidewalk, when someone opened fire, Estrada said.

The 28-year-old sustained a gunshot wound in his lower leg, while the 34-year-old suffered from a graze wound in his forehead, Estrada said.

Both were taken to Little Company of Mary Hospital.

The incident may have been gang-related, police said, because the 28-year-old victim is a documented gang member.

• A man was critically wounded around 9:15 p.m. in a Rogers Park shooting while riding his bike, police said.

• Around 8 p.m., a 24-year-old woman was shot on the Far South Side.

She was standing with her boyfriend in the 10200 block of South Normal Avenue when she heard numerous shots and felt pain to her shoulder, Estrada said.

After being struck in her shoulder, she was taken to Christ where she is in stable condition, police said.

The incident may have been gang-related because her boyfriend is a documented gang member "who is believed to be the intended target," according to police.
