CHICAGO — Two people were injured in a Pilsen shooting overnight.

The incident occurred in the 1600 block of West Cullerton Avenue around 3:40 a.m., according to Officer Jose Estrada, a police spokesman.

Two men, ages 25 and 18, were sitting in a car when someone walked up and opened fire, striking the 25-year-old in his knee and the 18-year-old in his hand, Estrada said.

Both were taken to Rush Hospital where they are in good condition, Estrada added.

The incident is possibly gang-related, as both victims are documented gang members, according to police.

No one is in custody, and detectives are investigating.
