CHICAGO — Two women were left wounded in a Near West Side shooting late Saturday.
Around 11 p.m., the women, ages 41 and 45, were at an outdoor party in the 2400 block of West Adams Street when they heard shots and felt pain, said Officer Amina Greer, a police spokeswoman.
The 41-year-old was shot in her lower back, while the 45-year-old was shot in her leg, Greer said.
Both of the women transported themselves to Stroger Hospital; the 41-year-old is in stable condition and the 45-year-old is in good condition, police said.
No one is in custody for this shooting.
