Rogers Park Shooting Leaves Man, 52, Wounded

CHICAGO — A man is in stable condition after being shot in Rogers Park Thursday evening.

Around 10:30 p.m., the 52-year-old man was in the 1700 block of West Juneway Terrace when he heard shots and felt pain, said Officer Ronald Gaines, a police spokesman.

He suffered from a gun shot wound in his buttocks, Gaines said, and was taken to St. Francis Hospital.

No further information on the shooting was immediately available.
