LAKEVIEW — Grab your bacon and eggs, and grow your beards.

"Parks and Recreation" star Nick Offerman will be in Lakeview introducing two screenings of his new film "Somebody Up There Likes Me" at the Music Box Theatre.

The film debuts Friday night, but Offerman will introduce screenings at 7:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. March 9. He will stay after the showing for a Q&A, said Music Box's assistant general manager Buck Lepard.

Advance tickets may be bought online for $10 on the Music Box's website.

Tickets are going fast, and the theater advises buying them in advance, Lepard said.

"Somebody Up There Likes Me" is a comedy directed by indie filmmaker Bob Byington about two friends, Max Youngman (Keith Poulson) and Sal (Offerman), and Lyla, a woman they both adore (Jess Weixler), as they stumble through 35 years of life.

The film will continue to screen at least through the end of next week at the Music Box, 3733 N. Southport Ave.
