Developers are now pitching a new two-tower plan for the Haymarket Center-owned site.

The hotel across from Google's corporate headquarters will feature a restaurant and rooftop bar. 

Sylvia Maldonado will open breathe bar across the street from her family's longtime business. 

The proposed project would bring 300 new apartments to Fulton Market near Union Park. 

Landmark West Loop, at 1035 W. Van Buren, aims to attract tenants from UIC and the Medical District. 

The former publishing house and casket factory takes on new life as the Publishing House B&B this June. 

The lights could illuminate "crazy dark" streets under the Green Line, Ald. Walter Burnett said.

The block-long former H2O Plus site could bring nearly 600 new apartments to the West Loop. 

The 1 S. Halsted tower will bring 492 new apartments to the West Loop next to the Crowne Plaza Hotel. 

The company plans to hire nearly 100 new employees before it moves into the new offices. 

The produce wholesaler joins a list of meatpackers and wholesalers who have moved out of the area. 

The 12-story project, opposed by some in the neighborhood, would bring 1,100 jobs to Fulton Market.

McCaffery Interests will present its plan to West Loop neighbors at a meeting Tuesday. 

This "is not Downtown," one neighbor said of the 405-unit, three-building apartment plan.
