WEST LOOP — A developer will pitch plans for a new seven-story office building in Fulton Market Tuesday night.

McCaffrey Interests aims to develop the 104-foot-tall building at 1201 W. Lake St. in the West Loop. The developer will present plans to the community at 6 p.m. at Catalyst Ranch, 656 W. Randolph St.

Under the plans, the building at Lake and Racine would include about 11,600 square feet of street-level retail and 50 parking spaces, according to the West Loop Community Organization. Offices would be on the building's second through seventh floors.

The site is a few blocks west of the CTA's Morgan "L" stop and the proposed 13-story McDonald's "Vendor Village."

At the meeting, the developer plans to unveil new renderings of the proposed project. The new renderings are an update to renderings released in October 2016.

The developer filed for a zoning change on the property in November, city records show.
