A 20-year-old died late Friday after being shot earlier in the day.

The 20-year-old man was in stable condition at Advocate Christ Medical Center, police said.

The shooting occurred shortly after 1 p.m. in the 700 block of East 133rd Street.

A man robbed a bank in the 1400 block of East 53rd Street, police said.

A Citibank at 180 N. Michigan Ave. was robbed about 1:15 p.m., officials said.

Teardown could take until the end of April on site being eyed for potential big-box retail development.

Both victims were taken to nearby hospitals in serious but stable condition, police said.

Larry Luellen Jr., 34, was  charged with first-degree murder in the Feb. 15 slaying of Frances Colon, 18.

A man was fatally shot in West Englewood, while three others were shot on the South, West sides.

The 15-year-old boy was shot four times in the leg in West Humboldt Park, police said.

The newborn was found Thursday evening in the 200 block of West 112th Street, police said.

Police have launched an arson and homicide investigation, officials said.

"The labels clearly pose a danger with the intent to attract young children," a police statement said.
