Incumbent Ald. Ricardo Munoz was reelected in the 22nd Ward Tuesday.

Incumbent Ald. Patrick O'Connor was reelected to run the 40th Ward on Tuesday.

Incumbent Ald. Michelle Harris (8th) won reelection in her South Side ward.

Incumbent Ald. Will Burns (4th) won reelection Tuesday.

Of the four candidates running to represent the 36th Ward, none secured a majority at the polls Tuesday.

The incumbent alderman defeated Patricia Horton.

The influential incumbent easily defeated challenger Gabe Beukinga.

She defeated Shirley White, Henry Moses and Charles Thomas Sr.

Candidates vie over who can best balance wooing developers and including community in decisions.

Voters came out on the South Side Tuesday.

From a possible runoff in the 25th to issues in the 27th, Near West Side voters went to the ballot box.

Incumbent Ald. Scott Waguespack won reelection in the 32nd Ward Tuesday night.
