With dreams of a career in fashion, a Lakeview resident decided to open her own store.

The new restaurant from Hubbard Inn's owners is opening Thursday at 112 W. Hubbard St. 

The bar, Raised, is opening next month at the Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel. 

The restaurant is offering a menu of eight different tacos and a selection of salads.

The brewery at 2515 S. Wabash Ave. will be open in time for a May 29 "block party."

Christie's Dairy Delights is now serving up 16 flavors of ice cream daily on Taylor Street. 

The online retailer also buys back clothes when kids outgrow them.
