No closing date has been set and the iconic German restaurant remains open, an owner says.

Halfwit will supply the coffee at the new spot, 3431 W. Fullerton Ave., which will be its own entity.

Sylvia Maldonado will open breathe bar across the street from her family's longtime business. 

The store is offering books, DVDs and CDs for half off before it shuts its doors.

The new Whole Foods will open March 22.

The Fulton Market restaurant will be the chain's first Midwest location. 

"We are about nostalgic candy, stuff you can't get everywhere," Fuzziwig's franchisee Karla Baker said.

The station at 3700 W. 111th Street has already drawn interest from buyers, the real estate agent said.

"We are closed, like, forever," one location posted on its front door.

The new cafe offers discounts to police, firefighters, teachers, bus drivers, mail carriers and more.

The ice cream shop will be the first in the same Taylor Street storefront in a few years.
