Reporter/Producer @tomford09 Contact

Quinn Ford is a general assignment reporter/producer covering breaking news in Chicago.

Quinn came to DNAinfo.com Chicago after completing a fellowship at WBEZ Chicago Public Radio. For WBEZ, Quinn got to cover the city's wacky political scene, from the 2012 Chicago teachers strike to Ald. Joe Moreno's battle with Chick-fil-A. Before WBEZ, Quinn bounced around other news organizations, including NBC Channel 5, Chicago magazine and National Public Radio's Investigations Unit in Washington D.C., where he contributed to a Peabody Award-winning series on Native American foster children in South Dakota.

Quinn is an Evanston native and studied journalism at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he wrote for the student newspaper, The Daily Illini.

Fun fact: Quinn can rip a phone book in half, and he wants you to ask him to prove it.
