The man was shot multiple times while arguing with another person, police said.
DuJuane Hall, of the 7200 block of South Whipple Street, died at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday, officials said.

The man was sitting in the passenger seat when he was shot by someone in another vehicle, police said.
When drivers got out of their vehicles to move the barrel, they were attacked, police said.
The 65-year-old woman suffered a graze wound in her back, police said.
The woman was one of seven people injured in overnight violence, police said.
Amin Smith, of the 7800 block of South Greenwood Avenue, was ordered held without bail.
The 2 a.m. shooting occurred outside of the restaurant/nightclub on Randolph in the West Loop.
