Near West Side Shooting Wounds Man In Gas Station Parking Lot

CHICAGO — A 21-year-old man was shot near the border of West Town and the Near West Side on Sunday night, police said.

At 10:38 p.m., the man was standing in a gas station parking lot in the 100 block of North Western Avenue when he heard shots and felt pain, police said.

The man was hit in his left hand. He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

No one was in custody.
