CHICAGO — Shootings over the weekend left six people dead and 31 wounded, police said.

Of those victims, one person has been killed and four wounded since Sunday morning.

• At 10:27 a.m. Sunday, a 28-year-old man was shot to death in South Shore. A woman, 26, was seriously wounded.

In non-fatal shootings:

• At 1:29 a.m. Monday, a 42-year-old man was shot in Garfield Park, police said. The man was standing on the sidewalk in the 700 block of North Ridgeway Avenue when someone walked up to him and said he was robbing the man.

The man ran away and the robber shot at him, hitting the man in his chest, police said.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 8:48 p.m. Sunday, a 20-year-old man was shot in Riverdale, police said. The man was in the 13100 block of South St. Lawrence Avenue when he was shot in his stomach.

The man was hospitalized. His condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

No further information was immediately available.

• At 2:45 p.m., a 25-year-old man was shot in Burnside, police said. The man was in 9100 block of South Ellis Avenue when he was shot in his forearm.

The man was taken to Trinity Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

No one was in custody in these shootings.

One person was killed and 14 wounded in shootings Saturday to Sunday, and shootings left four people dead and 13 wounded between Friday and Saturday.
