CHICAGO — Shootings have killed one person and wounded six since Tuesday, police said.

• At 4:58 p.m. Tuesday, a 41-year-old man was shot dead in Back of the Yards.

In non-fatal shootings:

• At 1:25 a.m. Wednesday, a 31-year-old man was shot in Garfield Park, police said. The man was sitting in a car in the 4200 block of West Adams Street when he felt pain in his back.

The man was shot in his back and his friend drove him to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was in good condition, police said.

• At 11:15 p.m. Tuesday, a 22-year-old man was shot in West Englewood, police said. The man was walking on the sidewalk int he 6700 block of South Oakley Avenue when he heard shots and felt pain.

The man was shot in his right foot and he was taken to Holy Cross Hospital in good condition, police said.

• At 10:40 a.m., four people — including two teen boys — were shot in Austin.

No one was in custody in these shootings.
