CHICAGO — Shootings have wounded 15 people — including two children, 4 and 6 years old — since Wednesday morning.

• At 10:10 p.m. Wednesday, a 27-year-old man was shot in Garfield Park, police said. The man was driving and stopped in the 3100 block of West Madison Street when he heard loud noises.

A bullet went through the car, hitting the man in his leg. He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 9 p.m., a 42-year-old man was shot in Chicago Lawn, police said. The man was standing on the sidewalk in the 7300 block of South Maplewood Avenue when someone wearing all black walked up to him while carrying a gun.

The man ran and the person with the gun fired shots, hitting the man in his leg, police said. The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in good condition.

The man is a documented gang member, a police source said.

• At 8:45 p.m., a 17-year-old was shot in Back of the Yards, police said. The teen was walking in the 5300 block of West Winchester Avenue when someone walked up to him, took out a gun and fired shots.

The teen was hit in his leg and was taken to a hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 6:56 p.m., a 30-year-old man was shot in Garfield Park, police said. The man was in the 4400 block of West Congress Parkway when he was hit in his right thigh and foot.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, police said.

The man was "uncooperative," a police source said, and no further information was immediately available.

• At 5:19 p.m., a 22-year-old man was shot in West Pullman, police said. The man was standing on the corner in the 12200 block of South Green Street when someone in a silver-colored car fired shots at him.

The man was hit in his side and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in critical condition, police said.

• At 5 p.m., a 19-year-old man was shot in Auburn Gresham, police said. The man was in front of a home in the 1800 block of West 88th Street when a gray car pulled up and someone inside fired shots.

The man was hit in his ankle and was taken to Little Company of Mary Hospital in good condition, police said.

• At 4:35 p.m., a 23-year-old man was shot in Chatham, police said. The man was walking in the 100 block of West 79th Street when a white car drove up and someone inside fired shots.

The man was hit in his knee and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 3:59 p.m., a 4-year-old, a 6-year-old and a 27-year-old man were shot in Austin. 

• At 1:49 p.m., a Chicago Police dispatcher shot an 18-year-old woman in McKinley Park, police said.

• At 1:28 p.m., a 37-year-old man was shot in North Lawndale, police said. The man was walking on the sidewalk in the 700 block of South Independence Boulevard when someone walked up to him, fired shots and ran away.

The man was hit and taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 11:11 a.m., two women and a man were shot in Austin, police said. The three were inside a car in the 100 block of North Cicero Avenue when someone walked up and fired shots.

A 44-year-old man was hit in his upper arm and shoulder, a 28-year-old woman was hit in her left arm and right leg and a 32-year-old woman was hit in her leg, police said. They were taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition.

No one was in custody in these shootings.
