CHICAGO — Shootings have killed one person and wounded six others, including a 14-year-old girl, since Monday, police said.

• At 11:36 a.m. Monday, a 24-year-old man was shot dead in Austin.

In non-fatal shootings:

• At 9:27 p.m. Monday, a 33-year-old man was shot in North Lawndale, police said. The man was sitting in a car parked in the 4200 block of West Ogden Avenue when someone in a dark-colored car fired shots at him.

The man was hit in his left leg and he took himself to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 5:46 p.m., a 14-year-old girl and 20-year-old man were shot in South Chicago, police said. The two were walking in the 9100 block of South Commercial Avenue when a man walked up to the 20-year-old and the two got into a fight.

The man took out a gun and fired shots, hitting the girl in her back and the 20-year-old man in his left forearm, police said. The girl was taken to Comer Children's Hospital, where her condition was not available but she was listed as "stable," police said. The man was taken to Trinity Hospital in good condition.

The man who was shot was a documented gang member, a police source said.

• At 2:57 p.m., a 20-year-old man was shot in Garfield Park, police said. The man was walking in the 600 block of North Ridgeway Avenue when a dark-colored car pulled up and someone inside the car shot at the man.

The man's eyebrow was grazed by a bullet and he was also shot in his thigh, police said. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition.

• At 9:41 a.m., a 28-year-old man was shot in Grand Crossing, police said. The man was walking in the 800 block of East 79th Street when he heard shots and felt pain in his back.

The man was hit in his back and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

The man was a documented gang member, a police source said.

• At 8:20 a.m., a 17-year-old was shot in Little Village, police said. The teen was walking in the 4300 block of West 28th Street when a man in a gray hooded sweatshirt walked up to him from behind and fired shots at the teen.

The teen was hit in his left shoulder and right shoulder and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

The shooter drove away in a white van, police said.

No one was in custody in these shootings.
