LITTLE VILLAGE — A 17-year-old was shot in Little Village Monday morning, Chicago police said. 

At 8:20 a.m., the teen was walking in the 4300 block of West 28th Street when a man in a gray hooded sweatshirt walked up to him from behind and fired shots at the teen.

The teen was hit in his left shoulder and right shoulder and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

The shooter drove away in a white van, police said.

Shootings have killed one person and wounded six others, including a 14-year-old girl, since Monday. 

No one was in custody in these shootings.
