CHICAGO — Jason Goodfriend, 31, was shot to death in University Village early Saturday, officials said.
At 9:50 a.m., police found the man in a vehicle in the 1300 block of West Hastings Street after responding to a call of a man slumped over in a running vehicle, police said.
The man had been shot in his head, police said.
Goodfriend, of the 1300 block of North Maplewood, was pronounced dead at 10:07 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
