WEST LOOP — Neighbors will once again join together Tuesday night for a Menorah-lighting ceremony at Mary Bartlelme Park in the West Loop.

The park will host the sixth annual Menorah-lighting ceremony at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the park, 115 S. Sangamon St., with live Hanukkah music, hot latkas, donuts and glow-in-the-dark fun.

Before the Menorah-lighting ceremony, at 5:15 p.m., kids can enjoy Hanukkah crafts, activities and treats in Room 210 at Merit School of Music, located at 38 S. Peoria St. just north of Bartelme Park.

The event is sponsored by Mary Bartelme Park Advisory Council and Merit School of Music and presented in partnership with Chabad at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Bartelme Park previously hosted a Christmas tree-lighting ceremony earlier this month.
