LOGAN SQUARE — Park & Field is not your typical sports bar.

The new bar/restaurant, 3509 W. Fullerton Ave., is full of vintage sports gear at every turn, from an old gymnastics ring hanging from the ceiling to a giant scoreboard. That, combined with the farm-to-table food menu, rotating craft beer list and giant TVs, make it a hipster sports fan's dream.

It also has a massive outdoor dining area, where patrons can sit in Adirondack chairs around a huge fire pit in the winter and play bocce ball, drink boozy slushies and eat burgers during warmer months.

"We wanted to do something that really reflects what Logan Square is ... good food, craft beer, farm-to-table ... but also a place where you can watch the game," co-owner Dave Nalzeny told DNAinfo in November. "The last thing we want is to be a bro bar. We don't want neon signs. We don't want plastic cups. We want a place that is Logan Square."

Dave Nalzeny, along with his wife Kitty Izzo and his brother Dan Nalzeny, plan to open the bar to the public within the next week or two, depending on when the last permits come through. (For an exact opening date, check the bar's Facebook page.)

In the meantime, check out photos of the bar below:
