CHICAGO — Shootings have left three people dead and 11 wounded since Monday, police said.
• At 1:32 a.m. Tuesday, a 51-year-old man was shot dead in in Belmont Cragin, police said.
• At 6:16 p.m. Monday, a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old man were shot dead in Back of the Yards, police said.
In non-fatal shootings:
• At 1:40 a.m. Tuesday, a 30-year-old man was shot in Greater Grand Crossing, police said.
He was driving a vehicle in the 7000 block of South King Drive when he heard shots and felt pain, police said.
He was hit in his leg and was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center.
• At 8:54 p.m. Monday, a teen and a man were shot in South Chicago, police said.
They were in the hallway of an apartment building in the 8700 block of South Escanaba Avenue when a masked man walked in and fired shots, police said.
The 21-year-old was hit in his chest and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in serious condition, police said. The teen was hit in his left foot and was taken to the same hospital in stable condition.
• At 9:04 p.m., a 54-year-old man was shot during a robbery in North Lawndale, police said.
He was walking in the 3800 block of West Lexington Street when two men approached him and announced a robbery, police said. The men pulled out guns and fired shots, striking the victim.
He was hit in his right foot and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in good condition.
• At 7:01 p.m., a 36-year-old man was shot in Brighton Park, police said.
He was hit in his back in the 2400 block of West 47th Place and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.
• At 4:06 p.m., three men were shot in the head in Auburn Gresham, police said.
• At 9:25 a.m., three men were shot in Back of the Yards, police said.
