CHICAGO —  Two shootings killed two people and wounded three in Back of the Yards on Monday, police said.

At 6:16 p.m., a 17-year-old and an 19-year-old man were found unresponsive inside a car in the 4500 block of South Wolcott Avenue, police said.

The teen was hit in his mid-section and the man was hit in his head, police said.

Leny Cervantes, 19, and Jamie Cervantes, 17, of the 6400 block of South Bell, were pronounced dead at 6:35 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

At 9:25 a.m., three men were shot in the 5200 block of South Ashland Avenue, police said.

A 19-year-old man was hit in his abdomen and a 37-year-old man was hit in his upper thigh, police said. Both were taken to Stroger Hospital, where they are listed in critical condition.

An 18-year-old was hit in his buttocks and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition, police said.

The three men are documented gang members, police said.

No one was in custody.
