CHICAGO — Shootings have killed two people and wounded seven since Wednesday, police said.

• About 6 a.m. Thursday, a man was killed and a woman wounded during a shooting on the Eisenhower Expressway.

• At 8:20 p.m. Wednesday, a man with a concealed carry license shot and killed a robber in Grand Boulevard.

In non-fatal shootings:

• At 4:23 a.m. Thursday, a 20-year-old man was shot in Brighton Park.

• At 11:51 p.m. Wednesday, two men were shot in Archer Heights, police said. The men were walking on the sidewalk in the 4700 block of South Kedvale when a man walked up and fired shots at them.

A 36-year-old man was hit in his leg and and another man, whose age was not immediately available, was hit in his face. They were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where their conditions were not available but they were listed as "stable," police said.

• At 6:33 p.m., a 21-year-old man was shot in South Shore, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman. The man was driving in the 2800 block of East 79th Street when he was shot in back and left arm by someone outside the car.

The man crashed into a park car and was taken to Northwestern Hospital in critical condition, Pacheco said.

• At 5:27 p.m., a 38-year-old man was shot and critically wounded in Englewood.

• At 3:44 p.m., a 28-year-old man was shot in North Lawndale, Pacheco said. The man was sitting in a parked car in the 700 block of South Kedvale Avenue when someone outside fired shots.

The man was hit in his neck and took himself to Stroger Hospital, where he was in serious condition, Pacheco said.

The man was a documented gang member, police said.

No one was in custody in these shootings.
