CHICAGO — Shootings have left eight people wounded since Thursday, police said.
• Most recently, at 3:07 a.m., a 33-year-old man was shot in Irving Park.
• At 1 a.m., a 25-year-old man was shot in Englewood, police said.
• At 12:19 a.m., a 21-year-old man was shot in Garfield Park, police said. The man was on the porch of a home in the 3200 block of West Washington Boulevard when a car pulled up and someone inside fired shots.
The man was hit in his back and right arm. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition, police said.
The man is a documented gang member, police said.
• At 8:35 p.m., a 29-year-old man was shot in Roseland, said Officer Laura Amezaga, a Chicago Police spokeswoman. The man was walking in the 11200 block of South Wentworth Avenue when he heard shots fired and was hit.
The man was hit in his leg. He took himself to Roseland Community Hospital, where he was in fair condition, Amezaga said.
• At 6:22 p.m., a 15-year-old boy was shot in Washington Park, Amezaga said. The boy was walking down the street in the 5100 block of South Calumet Avenue when a car drove up and someone inside fired shots at him.
The boy was hit in his lower right leg. He was taken to Comer Children's Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," Amezaga said.
• At 4:36 p.m., a 17-year-old was shot near U.S. Cellular Field.
• At 11:53 a.m., a 23-year-old man was shot in Auburn Gresham.
• At 9:07 a.m., a 26-year-old man was shot in Austin.
No one was in custody in these shootings.
