WEST LOOP — With a new menu inspired by Chinese street food, Duck Duck Goat's new carryout window opens Wednesday in Fulton Market.

Chef Stephanie Izard will launch Duck Duck Ta'Go, Duck Duck Goat's new walk up window, Wednesday at the restaurant, 857 W. Fulton Market. The walk up window will be open from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. daily with plans to extend hours at a later date.

The menu features Chinese street food including:

• Taiwanese Fried Chicken: crispy strips of marinated chicken thighs;

• Niu Rou Jian Bing: giant scallion pancake filled with sliced beef, sesame horseradish mayo and sliced cucumbers;

• Tofu Noodle Salad: tofu noodles, veggies and herbs in a vinaigrette;

• Rou Jia Mo: griddled bun with chili soy glazed pork belly, pickled cucumbers, pickled fresnos, cabbage and herbs. To accommodate vegetarians, the pork belly can be traded out for shiitake mushrooms.

To celebrate the Duck Duck Ta’Go launch, Izard will play "Duck Duck G̶o̶o̶s̶e̶ Goat" with guests waiting in line at 11 a.m. Randomly chosen diners will receive a free dish or free lunch, a restaurant representative said.

Inspired by Izard's trips to China, Duck Duck Goat opened in March. Izard also operates acclaimed Girl & the Goat and Little Goat Diner in the neighborhood.
