WEST LOOP — A new Freshii location will officially open on Madison in the West Loop Tuesday.
The health-conscious chain will open the new restaurant in The Madison at Racine development, 1164 W. Madison St., for breakfast Tuesday, confirmed David Grossman, president of Fresh Food Management, the company that owns and operates Chicago's Freshii locations.
The restaurant's healthy menu includes breakfast options, salads, wraps, customized bowls, burritos, juices, Intelligentsia coffee and more.
The new 1,600-square-foot location seats 35 guests inside and a sidewalk patio seats a dozen people outside during warmer months.
Freshii on Madison will be open 7 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Friday and 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. The restaurant was originally slated to open last summer.
Freshii also operates restaurants at Presidential Towers, 26 S. Clinton St., and in the Ogilvie Transportation Center, 500 W. Madison St., in the West Loop.
The Madison at Racine, a luxury rental development, officially opened in January 2015.
