4 Killed, 14 Wounded In Chicago Shootings Since Friday

CHICAGO — Four people have been killed and 14 wounded in shootings since Friday, police said.

• At 3:20 a.m. Saturday, a fight in Austin led to one woman being shot to death, one woman being wounded by gunfire and two women being stabbed.

• At 7:15 p.m. Friday, a man was shot dead in Ashburn.

• At 5:45 p.m., 17-year-old Denear Dashaun Scott was killed in Chatham.

• At 2:45 p.m., a man was killed and another wounded in Belmont Cragin.

In non-fatal shootings:

• At 4 a.m. Saturday, a 34-year-old man was shot in Englewood, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

• At 3:55 a.m., a 23-year-old man was shot in Fuller Park, Estrada said. The man was in the 4700 block of South Wells Street when he was shot.

Further information was not immediately available.

• At 1:30 a.m., a 23-year-old man was shot in Lakeview.

• At 12:30 a.m., a 32-year-old man and 28-year-old woman were shot in South Chicago, Estrada said. They were on the porch of a home in the 8200 block of South Saginaw Avenue when someone in a passing gold SUV fired shots.

The man was hit in his left leg and the woman was hit in her back. They were taken to Northwestern Hospital in serious condition, Estrada said.

• At 11:15 p.m. Friday, a 50-year-old man was shot in Garfield Park, police said. The man was delivering food in the 3500 block of West Adams Street when a black man in his 20s walked up and confronted him.

The older man tried to get back into his car and flee, but the younger man fired shots at him, police said. The man was hit in his right arm and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 9 p.m., a 20-year-old man was shot in Englewood, police said.

• At 8:10 p.m., a 23-year-old man was shot in Pill Hill, Estrada said. The man was in the 9100 block of South Chappel Avenue when he was shot in his face and arms.

The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in serious condition, Estrada said.

• At 7:40 p.m., a 23-year-old man was shot in Washington Park, Estrada said. The man was in the 5600 block of South Michigan Avenue when he was shot in his abdomen.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, Estrada said.

• Also at 7:40 p.m., a 35-year-old man was shot in Auburn Gresham, Estrada said.

• At 12:30 p.m., a man in his 30s was shot in North Lawndale, according to the Chicago Tribune.

• At 10:50 a.m., a man in his 20s was shot in Uptown, according to the Tribune.
