CHICAGO — A shooting in Lakeview left a 23-year-old man wounded early Saturday, police said.
At 1:30 a.m., the man was in the 3600 block of North Recreation Drive when a man walked up and shot at him, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.
The man was hit in his left leg and was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital in good condition, Estrada said.
The man was a documented gang member, police said, and the shooting might be gang-related.
No one was in custody.
